Hello, my name is Mily, I am from Cuba, and I am the co-founder and head chef at Mestizo.
Eight years ago, my husband Pedro Rivera introduced me to Peruvian food, which sparked an enchanting inquisitiveness and feelings inside of me. I have come to love and embrace the Peruvian culture and learned that Peru is not only rich in history, but it is also the culinary capital of the Americas.
I have always dreamed of sharing my passion for food with the people around me and Mestizo Peruvian Cuisine finally allows me to do that.
